JinNews reported that in September, 19 women and one child were murdered by men, while 21 women and one child lost their lives under suspicious circumstances.

The data showed that most of the women were killed by men closest to them. The perpetrators included husbands, ex-husbands, acquaintances, fathers-in-law, sons, grandsons, and neighbors. Among the victims, three women were in the process of divorce, two were killed by their ex-husbands, and three by their current husbands.

The cities where the murders took place include Ankara, Afyon, Kocaeli, Denizli, Izmir, Antalya, Osmaniye, Istanbul, Muğla, Samsun, Zonguldak, and Antep (Dîlok).
